Presentation

I am professor in social work at the Department of social work. My interests have mainly involved the distribution of security, welfare and welfare services with an underpinning interest for vulnerability, insecurity and risk in human life. With those interests, I have approached the role of social work in disaster risk reduction and within contingency systems. My current research involves eco-social interventions in local contexts.

I graduated from Lund University with a bachelor's degree in social work 1991, and have a master's degree from 1997 and worked nearly ten years in public social services.
